| Research Description: |
We are using related Drosophila species as a model system to investigate how biological systems evolve. We are interested in the evolution of early embryonic patterning, neural stem cell specification, locomotion and germline stem cell development. We use a combination of genetics, imaging and modeling tools to address those questions. |
