Research Description: |
We are studying mechanisms of evolutionary change in nervous systems, from the level of ion channels and signal transduction cascades to behavior. We largely work with amphibians and fishes. Standard techniques in our lab involve electrophysiology, anatomy, and behavior, and in collaboration with others we also carry out molecular and biochemical experiments. |
