Research Description: |
We are interested in understanding the developmental basis for evolutionary change, mostly within the arthropods. There are currently three primary areas of work in the lab; 1) Exploring the role of Hox genes in the evolution of body morphology, 2) Understanding the mechanisms of germ line regeneration in Parhyale, and 3) Studying the developmental basis for structural colors in butterflies. |
