Research Description: |
We study fungal evolution with a focus on genome evolution and comparisons focusing on evolution pathogenecity. We study this in the frog killing fungus Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis and several human pathogenic fungi. We also use model system Neurospora crassa to study processes in filamentous growth using genetic approaches. We use and develop bioinformatics approaches to study and compare genome evolution. |
