Research Description: To understand the development and evolution of chordate, currently, we are studying following approach. 1. Construction of 3D anatomical database of ascidian, Ciona intestinalis. (FABA: http://chordate.bpni.bio.keio.ac.jp/faba) 2.Three-dimensional cellular-level anatomy and comprehensive annotation of tailbud embryo in Ciona intestinalis 3. Study of origin of chordate peripheral nervous system 1. Construction of Database for Tunicate Chemical Genomics 2. Analysis of phenotype caused by temporal treatment of SU4984 in Ciona intestinalis embryo
